		Confectionery These chocolate bar bases have been sorted into rank and file as well as being correctly pitched for the next process.

		This innovative solution both designed and manufactured by CarnaudMetalbox Engineering is now helping to make a new confectionary product for a well known company.

		Transportation and Storage To reduce transportation costs a new "bag in frame" was designed, developed and manufactured at CarnaudMetalbox Engineering. These new frames "nest" inside one another when empty so as to reduce the space required on return journeys.

		The major benefits of these new "nesting " frames are: Cost effective transport solution The "nesting" reduces volume by approximately 2.5:1 Capacity of 0.5 Tonne Certified stackable to 6 high Automatic interlocks for stability when nested

		Whilst these developments took place, the factory here at Shipley was equipped to mass produce the standard non-nesting frames. The design of these units was also greatly enhanced, by increasing their capacity to 0.5 Tonne - This enhanced frame design from CarnaudMetalbox Engineering can be safely stacked 6 high.

		Cam Monitoring The photograph on the right shows a seaming cam complete with a pair of load cells. The removable bridge assembly allows simple replacement of these condition monitoring devices.
